About Our Agency

Jim Mears founded the Mears Insurance Agency in 1975, after nine years experience as a marketing representative with a reputable insurance company. With support from his wife, Susie, and many of their friends contributions, Mears Insurance Agency Inc. rapidly grew into a successful insurance business.

Shane Mears represents the second generation to be involved with the agency as a producer for commercial and personal lines, while Jim is a producer for commercial lines. Assisting them with the daily tasks are three committed customer service agents.

Mears Insurance Agency, Inc. has grown from a one-man operation in 1975 to a successful, multi-line agency with five employees in 2001. As an independent agency, Mears Insurance Agency Inc. will endeavor to provide products and services to meet all personal and business insurance needs.
